What does the term "popunder" or "pop under" mean?

A pop under is like a pop up except that it loads underneath the current page rather than over it. When the visitor leaves the primary website the popunder window is shown. That popunder "window" contains a full page ad from our advertiser. The popunder will automatically adjust itself to fit the viewer's maximum screen resolution. This form of advertising is much more superior because it is less intrusive.

What does the term "redirected domain" or "expired domain" mean?

When a domain name has expired, and the owner fails to pay on time and fails to respond during a "hold" period, the registrar drops the domain. At this point, we register that domain and direct its traffic to our servers and then to the appropriate targeted campaigns we serve. We have software in place that constantly checks for high-traffic domains which allows us to register them within only several hours of them being dropped, resulting in real visitors viewing your advertisement.

What does the acronym "CPM" stand for?

CPM stands for Cost Per thousand (M is for the Roman numeral for 1000), which is the way we calculate the cost of your campaign. For example, $2 CPM indicates a price of $2 per thousand. (To determine the cost of your campaign, divide the quantity by 1000, and multiply by the CPM cost. (i.e. if it is $2.00 CPM and you order 10,000 visitors, take (10000/1000=10), so an order of 10,000 at $2.00 CPM would be 10 x $2.00= $20.00.

What does a "hit" or "site hit" mean?

Technically a hit occurs when a file is loaded from a web server. Several hits will occur when a web page is loaded – e.g. one hit for each image on the page and one hit for the page itself. In common usage, however, people are referring to visits when they use the term "hit". We follow the common usage and mean the term "visit" when we say "hit" on this site.

What does a "visit" mean?

A visit occurs when someone loads a web page from our server thus “visiting” one of our advertiser's websites. The number of hits will always be equal to or greater than the number of visits.

What does "unique" mean?

1000 visits could be achieved by having one person load a page 1000 times or by having 1000 people load a page one time. If visits are unique, a single user is counted only once in a certain period of time. Usually, a level of uniqueness is specified such as: “12 hour unique” – that is, the same user is only counted once every 12 hours. Most commonly, traffic is 12 or 24 hour or campaign unique. Campaign unique means that the visitor is only counted once during the entire term of the traffic campaign. The degree of uniqueness is one of the major determining factors in price. That is, the more unique the traffic, the higher the price. Usually, a user is identified by their IP address, which is unique to every computer on the Internet. In some cases, the determination of whether a hit is unique depends on the server’s ability to store a small identifying file on a visitor’s computer, like a “cookie”.

What does "mainstream" traffic mean?

When we use the term Mainstream Traffic on this site, we are referring to the typical or normal Internet traffic with no specified geographical or categorized visitor intended. The visitor can come from anywhere in the world.

What does "bulk" or "raw" traffic mean?

When we say Bulk Traffic, we are referring to traffic with no specified level of uniqueness. The same user could be counted several times if they reload the campaign page. On average, bulk traffic is 50-75% unique. In addition, that traffic can come from several different sources and is generally excess traffic that has been generated by a traffic network and not sold at a higher price. It is sold in very large bulk quantities to larger traffic suppliers like us.

What does the acronym "RON" stand for?

RON is the abbreviation for "Run Of Network". This simply means that a traffic campaign does not have a specific time limit for all the traffic to be delivered and the campaign will remain on the network untill all traffic is delivered, unless the traffic campaign becomes in violation of the Terms of Service for that network.

How can popunders be targeted?

Our visitors come from numerous places. If you purchase targeted visitors, they could come from Google, Yahoo, other search engines and directories, and any and all independent sites.

Also, a special code is placed on most of the sites in our networks that match the category of your site, so that when a surfer visits that site, a pop-under window is opened behind the main browser window.

However, unlike pop-up windows, our ad enables the window to completely load behind the current page, which is far less obtrusive. The visitor can still surf the original site without interruption, viewing the pop-under after minimizing or closing the current window, or by clicking on the task bar. Because of this, popunders are more effective at generating sales and registrations than traditional pop-ups or exits.

What about "Pop Up Killer" software?

It is a fact that "Pop Up Killers" block pop-unders. Therefore, we have taken every step necessary to assure that your campaign is not charged when a pop-up killer blocks your ad. Our Ad Server will not count the display unless the pop-under (or pop-up) is displayed to the visitor.

Do you generate hits using SPAM, or other unscrupulous techniques?

Absolutely not. The visitors we deliver are legitimate. We never send out mass emails, post to newsgroups, use fake hit scripts, Alexa booster software, etc. The visits come from real users who actually see your site as a full page in their browser. We don't trick you by paying users to visit your site either.

Will my site really be shown as a full page ad?

Yes. Each of our campaigns is either shown as a full-page popunder on surfers' browser windows or they are redirected right to your site.

How can I keep track of my campaign?

Once your site is approved, your order activated, and your campaign receives its first visitor, an e-mail will automatically be generated and sent to you with a traffic campaign statistics link. You can use either the URL on the e-mail, or login into your account to view your campaign's progress.

What about third-party counters for tracking stats?

We only rely on our tracking for the number of hits sent to your website. Our tracking is the most accurate because the "hit counts" are incremented at the same exact time a visitor is sent to your site. Unlike third party counters, we don't have any load time to worry about. There are an enormous amount of counters with various load rates and it is impossible to accomodate each customer's counter. For example, some counters take as much as 30 seconds to count a visitor (some even more). We cannot control the behavior of the user/surfer, or force them to stay on the site a certain length of time. If they choose to 'close out' prior to your counter load, it is still considered a delivered visitor. This is how we are charged by the networks that supply traffic, which leaves us no other option but to charge our customers in the same manner.

How long will it take to get my visitors?

That varies on several factors, including the number of visitors ordered, and the type or category of traffic that you have purchased. In general, your campaign will start within one US business day after you place your order. After that start date, visitors will come to your site. Some days you may get up to 2,500 visitors (assuming a campaign of 100,000), other days you might get only a few hundred. However, we guarantee that you will get the number of visitors promised within 60 days of your start date, with the overwhelming majority delivered within the first 30 days.

How can a traffic campaign be made more effective?

Optimize your site to make it load quickly or design a page that not only loads quickly, but makes use of things such as special offers, good color schemes, etc. Anything that may appeal to your intended audience.

top of page

Do you have any restrictions on the content of my site?

Your site must be legal in the United States, and must adhere to our Terms Of Service. In general, will not deliver traffic to any websites that contain popups (popups, pop-behinds, or exit popups, java popups) on the page we send the hits to, unless you specifically order a package that allows one. You may not have a redirect. You may not send traffic to an ad server or ad rotator. No frame breaking code. No background music. No scripts that alter user browser settings (auto homepage, bookmarks, etc.) We will not send traffic to sites which promote hate, violence or illegal activities.

top of page

Do you guarantee your results?

Yes we do. If you do not get the number of visitors you purchased within 60 days of the campaign start date, we will refund your money on a pro-rata basis (e.g. if we only manage to send 80% of the visitors, we will refund 20% of your money). However, this has never happened... indeed, we usually deliver inside of 30 days!

top of page

What are your refund policies?

If we are unable to deliver the number of visitors promised within 60 days, you may claim a refund. In the unlikely event that we do not deliver the number of visitors promised, we will provide a refund of your entire purchase price on a pro-rata basis from the date you filed your claim. In cases where refunds are claimed, we reserve the right to require proof that the proper number of visitors were not delivered.

Stats, data and other information from third party counters (e.g. Extreme-DM.com, HitBox) are not sufficient to establish a claim. These counting systems tend to yield an improper count. If we dispute your claim, you must provide us with raw server logs from the site and time period in question - this is the best reliable method of counting a visitor.

If your site is changed during the campaign, such that it includes inappropriate content, or now violates our Terms Of Service, we may stop your campaign immediately. In this case, no refunds will be issued.
